They have an active membership of about 120 students and perform more than 2000 hours of service per semester. They are eager students willing to help volunteer anywhere that helps the community.

Peaceworks is an egalitarian, non-profit, grassroots organization. Membership is open to all. Peaceworks holds a vision of an ecologically sound, sustainable world and a violence-free community in which human equality and justice flourish. Peaceworks' Centers for Sustainable Living (CSL) conducts public education to promote future oriented lifestyles; that is living lightly such that we leave the earth a viable life support system for those who will come after us. CSL promotes conscious living. We urge a rethinking of our basic relationship to nature at the rest of humanity.
